The Greater Vancouver Basketball Officials Association (formerly the Vancouver and District Basketball Officials Association) provides qualified basketball officials for high school basketball in the Greater Vancouver area of British Columbia.

While the GVBOA concentrates on high school basketball, many of our members are also members of the BCCAA College Officiating Panel and the Canada West Officiating Panel for C.I.S. Basketball in western Canada.

Mike Thomson, who has been a member since 1983, has officiated at numerous international tournaments including the 2000 Olympic Games in Sidney Australia.

The GVBOA is a charter member of the BCBOA and all our officials are BCBOA, CABO and Basketball BC members.
